A washi paper bird in full flight, as a pendant or a wall light

L'Oiseau is a bird of washi paper caught in full flight, wings spread, with the light coming from its centre. Its shape comes from a clay mould modelled by Céline Wright, covered with strips of paper laid by hand. Some versions have feathers dyed pink or red, born from her residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto. The collection comes as a pendant light, mobile, wall light and offset wall light.
