Japanese paper table lamps

Around ten designs make up the table lamp collection, from Chrysalide, the most understated in the catalogue, to Éclipse, the most sculptural. In between, Baladeuse Haïku evokes hand-carried Japanese lanterns, Cocon Terre takes the cocoon's rounded form and sets it on the ground, and Tamago takes its name from the Japanese egg whose shape it borrows. Like every Céline Wright piece, each lamp is hand-assembled in Montreuil with washi paper woven from kozo fibres, on a frame made in France. Placed on a bedside table, a desk or a console, the Japanese paper table lamp gives off a low, warm light, never trying to light up the whole room.
