A true performance, this custom-made chandelier, 3.40 meters long, is composed of three Kozo paper sails that wrap around a luminous structure. The sails, hand-shaped on a sculpted form, are made of paper strips glued with entirely eco-friendly rice glue onto a layer of tarlatan (cotton gauze), creating a radiating pattern. It is supported by a central metal structure that passes through the sails via several metal cables, ensuring the sculpture's balance. The pure, high-quality Kozo paper, in its natural hue, was sourced in Japan by Céline during her artist residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto in 2022.
