"Samurai: 1000 Years of Japanese History" at the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, Nantes.
At the entrance of the exhibition, the silhouette of a Samurai warrior is silhouetted against a red paper sun, with a diameter of 2.20 m, mass-dyed and illuminated by LED strips inside the lens.In another space, a giant sheet of paper, 10 m by 6 m, entirely created on-site, is placed on a illuminated macrolon table. The undulating and light relief is created by sculpted waves covered with several thousand strips of washi paper. The sea of clouds softly illuminates the Samurai armors that seem to float in this celestial drapery.
