Château Beychevelles

«VOILES » Monumental Light realized for the Château Beychevelles

The ships entering the estuary of Garonne saluted the Château Beychevelles by lowering their sails. 

This message inspired the creation of the majestic light placed in the heart of the cellar of the Château. 

The sails are in Japanese Washi paper, one of which is covered in gold leaf, reflecting the light like a shining sun. 

The grand mast, the soul of the structure, gives energy to the ensemble. It is a testament to breath and movement around a vertical ax that links the sky and the earth.
